Metallic epoxy is not a printed marble imitation. The pattern develops during installation as pigment, resin, temperature and application technique interact. That is what creates the depth people notice when light moves across the floor.

The result can be quiet and architectural or bold and dramatic. Because every pour develops differently, the goal is not to reproduce an exact photograph but to establish a colour direction and movement style that suits the room.

Metallic floors are best used in interior spaces where appearance matters as much as durability: salons, retail showrooms, automotive showrooms, restaurants, offices, entertainment spaces, finished basements and custom residential interiors.

For wet industrial environments or areas where aggressive traction is the priority, a flake or quartz system may be a better fit. We would rather recommend the right system than force metallic into a space where another finish will perform better.

The process still starts with mechanical diamond grinding. The concrete is repaired and primed, then a pigmented base establishes the colour beneath the metallic body coat. Metallic pigments are blended into the resin and manipulated while the material is live to create movement and depth.

Once the design has settled and cured, the floor is protected with an appropriate clear topcoat. The topcoat is selected around the expected traffic, sheen and traction requirements of the space.

Most strong metallic designs start with a restrained palette. Two or three compatible tones usually create more convincing movement than trying to force too many colours into one floor. Black, charcoal, silver, white, bronze and warm stone tones can all be used to shift the mood dramatically.

Lighting matters too. Large windows, storefront glazing and directional fixtures make the reflective depth more visible throughout the day, which is why metallic floors work especially well in customer-facing interiors.
